Monterey Historics

Monterey Historics is a real-life racing event that takes place on Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. It consists of older race cars being pushed to the limits--what they were made to do!


There will be 3 classes of racing--Trans Am, Le Mans, and Can-Am.

TRANS-AM (600 Performance point limit)
Allowed Cars:

1970 Dodge Challenger RM
1969 Chevy Camaro RM
1964 Pontiac Tempest Le Mans GTO
1967 Mercury Cougar XR7
1966 Shelby Cobra 427
1970 Ford Mustang Trans Cammer
1965 Shelby GT350R
1963 Chevy Corvette C2 Race Car
Under 2.0 liter Trans Am class(500 PP limit)(run at the same time as over 2.0 liter class) :
1986 RUF BTR
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
1969 Nissan Bluebird Rally Car
1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1600

LE MANS (no PP limit)

Cars allowed:

All OLD LeMans cars allowed(before 1975) i.e. 1967 Ferrari 330 P4

CAN AM (700 PP limit)

1970 Toyota 7 Race Car
1970 Chaparral 2J Race Car



RACING RULES:
No intentional hitting.

We will race 10 laps in each class. It will be set to 11 laps for a pace lap. We are looking for a pace car driver, I will send a 2008 Dodge Challenger.

You don't need a car for EACH class, you can pick which classes you run.

In Le Mans it can be any old Le Mans car, like the Ferrari 330 P4 or Ford Mark IV.

I'll hopefully be taking part in this!

I'll enter Trans Am with either a '70 Challenger, '67 Cougar or '66 Cobra. Haven't decided 100% yet.

I'll enter the LeMans event with my '67 Ferrari 330 P4.

I should be available for this date, if I'm not, then I'll let you know ASAP.

Why does everyone have Ferrari 330's except me??? I really want one!! Of course since SOMEONE put a trading limit on, I can't trade -_-
